Schüler von Lemböck. Nachdem er sich selbstständig gemacht hatte, verlegte
er sich mehr auf den Geigenhandel, und seine Wittwe Magdalene setzte
bis etwa 1898 das Geschäft fort, das jetzt ihr Sohn Franz Lux besitzt. Eine
Guitarre in Bandurriaform von ihm befindet sich im musikhistorischen Museum
in Stockholm.
