Es war nichts über ihn zu erfahren, so dass ich geneigt bin, diesen Mafeotto
für identisch mit dem 1637 vorkommenden Giuseppe Mascotto zu halten; fe statt
fc zu lesen, ist ja leicht möglich. Der Katalog der Sammlung Correr in Venedig
giebt allerdings den Namen ausdrücklich »Mafeotto« an. Leider enthält die
dort befindliche Viola da spalla keine Jahreszahl.
