Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+

Sohn und Schüler von Giovanni Rossi, bei dem er sich seit seinem siebenten Jahre mit dem Geigenmachen beschäftigte. Er arbeitet nach den Modellen von Guarneri, Stradivari, Guadagnini und Testore. Seine Arbeit ist gut, ebenso der Lack, den er selbst bereitet. Im Jahre 1877 erhielt er eine Medaille. Sein Sohn Villelmo ist gleichfalls Geigenmacher und jetzt Theilhaber der Firma Enrico Rossi & Figlio.

Pavia. Born in March 1848 at Pavia. Son and pupil of Giov. Rossi. Good workmanship on the patterns of Guarneri, Stradivari, Guadagnini and Testore. Worked in company with his son Guglielmo. Applied good varnish.
