A maker in Lyons about 1678-1712. In a six stringed bass-viol, made on a narrow pattern, with brown varnish, was the label; “François Saraillac a Lion, 1711 ” ; a little pocket violin was dated 1679.

Man kennt sehr wenig von ihm. Eine Taschengeige von 1678 und eine sechssaitige (früher siebensaitige) Bassviola befinden sich aus der Sammlung Snoeck (No. 489) in Berlin. Die Bassviola ist braun lackirt.
