Sechster Sohn von Johann Gottfr. Sch. Er verheirathete sich am 29. Oct.1789 mit Eva Regine Lippold (geb. 1766, †1830) und hinterliess sechs Kinder. Er war ein talentvoller Geigenmacher, dessen Geigen ziemlich flach gearbeitet und nur am Rande, von wo aus die Wölbung sofort beginnt, etwas vertieft sind. Die F-Löcher stehen ein wenig zu steil.
