Sohn und Schüler von Christian Gottlob I. Sch. In seinen Geigen macht sich die Verwendung vorgearbeiteter Bestandtheile stark bemerkbar, und der Lack lasst viel zu wünschen übrig. Übrigens hat er nur wenig Geigen mit seinem Zettel versehen. Er heirathete 1815 Christine Erdmuthe Woller († 1860).
