Obwohl er »Hochfürstl. Hof-Lauten- und Geigenmacher« war, gelang es mir doch nicht, irgend etwas aus Archiven über ihn zu erfahren. Eine prächtig ausgeführte »Viola Baryton« von ihm befindet sich im musikhistorischen Museum Paul de Wit’s in Leipzig. Vgl.
