John Dilworth
SCHWARTZ, Bernhard Born 1744 Königsberg Germany, died 1822 Strasbourg France. Musician and luthier established in Strasbourg from c.1764. A member of the city guild in 1780 and recorded in archives as ‘luthier’ in 1796 at 69 Finkwillerstrasse. Small viola of 1796 preserved in the Strasbourg Museum.
