About 300 violins, 30 violas, and 10 cellos completed, but very few sold with his own label; mostly sold through Hornsteiner and other dealers. About 300 violins, 30 violas, and 10 cellos completed, but very few sold with his own label; mostly sold through Hornsteiner and other dealers. Excellent orange oil varnish; also used a dark red-brown and brittle red varnish. Inventor of ‘Super-Sensitive Stainless Steel Strings’.
