TANCZER, Georg (Gyorgy) (I) Born 1855, died 1922 Budapest Hungary. Pupil of Nemessanyi. Established in Budapest 1882, Debreczen 1899, and latterly employed by the Stowasser Company in Budapest. Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Schüler von Samuel Nemessányi und Adolf Mönnig von 1869—1873, arbeitete dann bei W. J. Schunda, machte sich 1882 in Budapest selbstständig und beschäftigte sich hauptsächlich mit Reparaturen. Beim Neu bau imitirt er Stradivari und Jos. Guarneri und verwendet einen gelblichrothen Bernsteinlack. Er führte eine Verbesserung am Bassbalken ein, die sich bewährt haben soll. Um 1899 war er in Debreczin ansässig und arbeitet jetzt für die Firma Stowasser.
