Mario TARASCONI (1886-1925) was an Italian violin maker, son of Giuseppe Tarasconi. He trained under Bernard of Liege, E. Laurant of Brussels, and Ornati of Milan, working in various European cities including Saronno, Milan, Paris, Liège, and Brussels. He employed Stradivari-derived and original models, often using a dark orange varnish, though his workmanship w as not being of the highest quality.
