Martin Tieffenbrunner
b. 1687
after 1735. Vannes gives the opinion that his father Joachim Tieffenbrunner was also a luthier, though no evidence survives. Probably a pupil of Mathias Klotz. Several violas and at least one violin of 1718 recorded. Very Klotz-like in style but no outstanding achievements in workmanship. Martin Die\u{2026} — John Dilworth

Angeblich Sohn des Joachim T. (dessen Beruf nicht feststeht). Sein Taufpathe war (6. Nov. 1687) Math.
