Er war ein Schüler von Andr. Hueber und gehört zu den besseren ungarischen Geigenmachern. Seine Arbeit ist sehr genau und das Holz gut; das Modell weist Ähnlichkeiten mit Arbeiten der Brescianer Schule auf. Sein Lack ist jetzt sehr dunkel und oft rissig.
