Sohn und Schüler von Johann Friedr. V. Er soll mit seinen Geigen viel umhergereist sein und war ein fleissiger Meister, dem übrigens am besten die Violen gelungen sind. Auf seinem Zettel gab er sich für einen Geigenmacher aus Prag aus und verwendete auch eine Brandmarke mit seinen Anfangsbuchstaben und der Jahreszahl.
