Eugen Wahl

Karlsruhe, b. 1877

Eugen WAHL (1877-1933) was a German wood sculptor and violinist who became a professional violin maker in Karlsruhe from 1909, after starting as an amateur in 1908. He obtained his Master's certificate in 1913 and crafted instruments using Stradivari, Guarneri, and personal models, employing spirit varnish and fine wood.
