Er wird ausdrücklich als »Geigenmacher« bezeichnet. Violen und Violinen von ihm kommen auch heute noch vor; sie haben ein langes, flaches Patron und flache Wölbung. In der Bauart erinnern sie am ehesten an die Brescianer Schule; nur der Lack ist zu glanzlos und braun.
