Er war Musiklehrer, was er auch auf seinen Zetteln betont. Seiner Arbeit nach, die nicht schlecht ist, dürfte er ein Schüler Cassini’s gewesen sein. Er machte Geigen aller Art und verwendete einen dunkelgelben Lack. Zwei Contrabässe befinden sich in der Sammlung Valdrighi.
