Son of François Jacques Barbé, above. Apprenticed to Derazey. Employed by Jacquot in Nancy, Miremont, Gand and Bernardel at Paris, and finally by J. B. Vuillaume. BARBÉ, Telesphore Amable Born 1822 Dijon, died 1892 Mirecourt France. Son of François Jacques Barbé, above. Apprenticed to Derazey. Employed by Jacquot in Nancy, Miremont, Gand and Bernardel at Paris, and finally by J. B. Vuillaume. Never established his own workshop, but contributed greatly to Vuillaume’s output.
