Later worked in Bern and Turin and possibly involved with Pressenda there. Returned to France. Found in various cities including Nîmes, Besançon, Lorient, and again in Paris. Fine workmanship of typical French quality and consistency. Famed for his own ‘secret’ varnish. Fait par Calot / Luthier à Paris en 1832.
