CHERPITEL, Louis Born 1877, died 1940 Mirecourt France. Son of Nicolas Émile Cherpitel, below. Trained in Mirecourt, apprenticed in Paris with Moinel 1900-1903, then returned to Mirecourt. Another period in Paris 1927-1929 as manager of the shop of Cuesnon before retirement to native town. Elegant and well-finished Stradivari model. L. Cherpitel.
