CHEVRIER, André Born 1893 Mirecourt France. Son of Victor Chevrier, below. Worked for Caressa & Français in Paris, followed by three years spent in Lyons with Boulangeot from 1920. Returned to Mirecourt to take over from his father at Thibouville-Lamy.

Cecie Stainer+

b. in Mirecourt. Worked first in Paris and then in Brussels. A well made violin with red-orange varnish was labelled: “Chevrier, luthier a Bruxelles, 1838.”
