Der Sohn von J. D. und wahrscheinlich Schwiegersohn von Léfèbre. Er
war Hoflautenmacher. De Croes schreibt 1783 von ihm, als er ihn als Nachfolger
von Michiels vorschlägt: … seul et unique bon ouvrier dans ce genre
d’ouvrages que je conmaisse …« Seine Geigen sind gut gearbeitet. Eine sechssaitige
Laute von ihm befindet sich aus der Sammlung Snoeck in Berlin.
