Was working in Lyons in 1618, according to a label found in a bass-viol of seven strings, with brown-black varnish, and the head carved : “P. Demouchi a Lyon, 1618.”

Lack und ein geschnitztes Köpfchen zeigt. Eine Viola da Gamba von 1633 von ihm ist im National-Museum in München (No 121) mit C- statt F-Löchern; der Name ist hier De Mouchi geschrieben.
