Also stamped ‘GES. GESCH’ (Gesetzlich Geschutzten – ‘legally protected’). Speciality ‘Vulcan’ \u{2026} — John Dilworth

DICK, Heinrich Hermann Worked 1908-1925 Markneukirchen Germany. Bow maker. Manufacturer of bows in various grades and qualities, using brands of well-known French and German archetiers. Best quality has his own brand: ‘H. DICK’ on the opposite side of the handle. Also stamped ‘GES. GESCH’ (Gesetzlich Geschutzten – ‘legally protected’). Speciality ‘Vulcan’ bows, the handle lapped with vulcanite (vulcanized rubber). These have the additional patent brand ‘D.R.G.M.’ (design registered in Germany).
