Wahrscheinlich ein Enkel von Christoph D. Es liegt nahe, zu vermuthen, dass auch der Vater Geigenmacher war. Leider aber ist es nicht gelungen, in Cassel irgend etwas über die Familie zu erfahren. Archivalien und gedruckte Bücher sind vergebens
durchforscht worden. Eine Viola da Gamba von ihm besitzt Paul de Wit in Leipzig.
