George Hart+

Copied the Amatis and Stradivari. The workmanship may be likened to that of Pique. Varnish yellow and thin. There is no indication of a resort to any maturing process. Wood frequently handsome.

Cecie Stainer+

A French maker, whose work was similar to that of Pique. He followed the Amati and Stradivari patterns, using a thin yellow varnish.

Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
