Vidal erwähnt ohne nähere Angaben einen Geigenmacher dieses Namens
und nennt als Wohnort »Ratisbonne«. In Regensburg sowohl als im kgl. Kreisarchiv
Amberg ist keine Spur zu finden, Mettenleiter erwähnt ihn nicht, und
der Klang des Namens lässt auch auf keinen Deutschen schliessen. Vidal muss
schlecht gelesen haben. — Auch in Ratibor habe ich vergeblich nachgeforscht.
