Er soll ein Bruder des Landshuter Meisters Johann Ulr. F. gewesen und ursprünglich auch in Landshut ansässig gewesen sein. Bei de Piccolellis wird er nur als in Landshut ansässig erwähnt. Vermuthlich war er der Vater des berühmteren Zacharias F.
