Er erscheint schon 1734, als Geigenmacher bezeichnet, in den Kirchenbüchern
der Pfarrei Goisern, wohin die Ramsau eingepfarrt ist. Er ist jedenfalls als der
Stammvater der Familie anzusehen. Seine Geigen sind sauber gemacht, ohne
bemerkenswerthe Eigenschaften.
