Schüler von C. H. Voigt. Als Gehilfe kam er zu Lemböck, wurde Geschäftsführer und 1892 durch Kauf Nachfolger der Firma G. Lembock. Er besitzt mehrere Ausstellungsmedaillen und war Mitglied der Ausstellungskommission für Paris 1900.
