Sohn von Gustav I. H. Er war Hofinstrumentenmacher und verband sich später mit seinem Sohne zu der Firma G. Höhne & Sohn. Seine Geigen sind recht sauber in ihrer Arbeit. Er soll auch eine Zeit lang in Dresden gearbeitet haben.
