Schüler seines Bruders Em. Ad. H. Er war ein selbstständiger, denkender
Künstler, schuf sich ein eigenes Modell und galt als ein Meister ersten Ranges.
Seine Geigen waren sauber gearbeitet und stark im Holz. Seine in München
1854 ausgestellten Violinen wurden zu den besten gerechnet. Sein Lack war
gewöhnlich dunkelroth. Zuerst war er von 1837—1843 in Novy Bydzov ansässig ,
wo er auch 1839 Magdalena geb. Ringhoffer heirathete. Er hatte drei Söhne und eine Tochter und wurde 1843 Bürger in Kutná Hora.
