Ex-miner and serviceman in World War II. Trained as a violin maker at the Remploy Factory, Bridgend in 1946, under G. Schliepps. Exhibited at the Arts and Crafts section of the Royal National Eisteddfod of Wales in Bridgend 1948. Guarneri and Stradivari models.
