Trained in Mirecourt. Worked in Liège from 1847 at 46 rue Souverain-Point, later moving to rue Pont-d’Ile. Uncle and teacher of Georges Mougenot, who eventually took over the business. Fine work in the Mirecourt style with red varnish over yellow ground. Signed internally. — John Dilworth
