Established in Lubbock, Texas from 1951 and moved to Dallas 1958. Ceased making new instruments 1961 but continued to run a shop in Dallas 1975-1983. Eight violins made on Guarneri model using commercial oil varnish. Bow maker from 1963. Over 200 made on Tourte model. Branded: KRAUS – DALLAS [\u{2026} — John Dilworth
