John Dilworth
LAGARDE, Antoine Born 1798, died 1882 Mirecourt France. Son and pupil (from c.1815) of Gabriel Lagarde, below. Violin and bow maker. Established independently from c.1825. Rare but fine bows from that date in Pajeot style. Ivory frogs with star inlay. Branded: A.LAGARDE
