Cecie Stainer+
A maker at Mirecourt, b. about 1674; d. March 1, 1749. His violins are not particularly good. His son, Laurent, was also a maker.
Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Wahrscheinlich der Sohn eines schon 1647 vorkommenden Lupot. Er war
Geigen- und Lautenmacher, namentlich aber als Holzbildhauer berühmt und
schnitzte sehr schöne Köpfchen und Ornamente an den Wirbelkästen. Er war
mit Laure Henry verheirathet und wurde der Stammvater der nachmals so berühmt
gewordenen Geigenmacherfamilie.
