A maker at Lyons about 1730-60. Several of his violins are known, made on the Stradivari pattern, with yellow-brown varnish, and of good workmanship.
A later label was printed in Latin.

aber nur einen mittelmässigen Ton. Er verwandte gelbbraunen Lack,
geschriebene und gedruckte Zettel und soll vorübergehend auch in Paris gearbeitet
haben.
