Einen echten Zettel von ihm konnte ich nicht zu Gesicht bekommen, ich
kann also nicht feststellen, ob meine Vermuthung, dass er nicht Bedler, sondern
Gedler hiess und aus Füssen stammt, richtig ist. De Piccolellis nennt ihn
Besler. Norbert Besler war fürstbischöflicher Hoflautenmacher. Das Museum
des Pariser Conservatoriums besitzt eine sehr schöne Viola di bordone von ihm.
