d. 1840. A descendant of the Bergonzi family, who worked in the same house in the Piazza San Domenico, Cremona. Was a clever restorer of violins.

war. Er wohnte noch im Stammhause seiner Vorfahren an der Piazza San
Domenico. Von ihm sollen die Angaben über Stradivari und seine Zeitgenossen
stammen, die Tarisio dem J. B. Vuillaume machte und die dann Fétis in seiner
Schrift über Stradivari verwerthet hat.
