John Dilworth
AERTS, Marcel Born 1910 Paris France, died 1976 Clearlake Oaks, California USA. Son of René Aerts, below. Pupil of Emile Jeandat in Mirecourt and Emile Laurent in Brussels. Emigrated to Los Angeles with his father in 1932 and joined the Douglas Aircraft company in Long Beach, California. Continued to make instruments as a hobby. Fine reputation as repairer and restorer. Made copies of classical masters, beautifully finished. Same label as his father (below).
