John Dilworth+

Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+

Er war ursprünglich Tischler, hat es aber als Geigenmacher zu grosser Geschicklichkeit gebracht und über 100 Geigen nach Guarneri gebaut. Sein Lack ist meist gelb oder mahagonifarben. Er gebraucht keine Zettel, sondern schreibt seinen Namen mit Feder oder Bleistift in seine Geigen und bringt aussen einen Brandstempel an.

William Meredith Morris+

He was born in Auchtermuchty in May 1839. He has made about 120 violins, and repaired extensively. Model : Joseph Guarnerius. I have not seen any of his work, but it is said to be of good average merit. He received a diploma and bronze medal at the Glasgow East End Exhibition, 1890, for a case of violins.
