BAJONI, Luigi Born 1838, d. after 1895 Milan Italy. Large model, slightly over-square, somewhat Brescian in style, but in truth quite ugly. Broad edge, large open scroll, and extended soundholes. Clear or lightly-tinted varnish over a dark ground. Some useful cellos. Luigi Bajoni / fece l’anno 1856 in Milano.
