John Dilworth
BECK, Adolf (Otto) Born 1891 Burg bei Magdeburg Germany. Pupil of Schult in Lübeck. Nominated ‘Master Luthier’ in Hamburg 1916. Established in Düsseldorf 1916-1939. Extremely well finished and classically orientated work. Author of The Proportional Construction of the Violin (Leipzig, 1923).
