John Dilworth
BEDOCCHI, Mario Born 1880, died 1955 Reggio Emilia Italy. Self-taught maker active 1897-1947, producing well over 200 instruments of all the violin family including double basses. Cremonese models using good materials and fine varnish of several shades. Awards in Rome, 1923, 1927 and 1929, Lodi 1929, and Padua 1931. Exhibited at Cremona 1937.
