John Dilworth

BELTRAMI, Giuseppe Born 1830 Vescovato, nr. Cremona, died 1881 Cremona Italy. Employed in the Claudio Monteverdi shop run by Aristide Cavalli in Cremona. Responsible for several craftsmen who made separate parts of instruments subsequently assembled and varnished by others. Good quality work in general, but with a rather dark spirt varnish.
