Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+

Erlernte nach seiner Angabe in Russland von 1879—1883 die Geigenmacherei,
machte sich 1886 in Lemberg selbstständig und baute nach Amati, Stradivarius
und Vuillaume. Im Lack ahmte er französische Vorbilder nach. 1894 stellte
er mehrere Geigen hors concours aus und hat seitdem den Neubau von Streichinstrumenten
aufgegeben und sich ausschliesslich auf den Instrumentenhandel
verlegt.
