BOFILL, Salvatore Worked circa. 1733-1756 Barcelona Spain Important maker of the Spanish school. Very interesting and characterful work on personal model. Good low arch. Open soundholes with large nicks, set upright and very close to the edge. Broad but neatly inlaid purfling. Well-carved scroll, nicely concentric but narrow, with widely projecting eyes.
