BOGNER, Ambros Joseph Born 1752 Haida Czech Republic, died 1822 Vienna Austria. Initially established in Prague. Moved to Vienna 1792. Rare maker. Used a Stradivari arching. Well-finished work with good materials, but dark chippy varnish of poor texture. Also made plucked instruments. Ambrosius Josephus Bogner / fecit Vienuae. Anno, 1807
