BOOM, Pierre Worked circa. 1758-1779 Brussels Belgium. Chiefly a maker of lutes and viols, but one violin in the Brussels Musical Instruments Museum is dated 1779, and Vannes cites two violas. Well-proportioned work with good varnish of the period. P. Boom me fecit / Bruxelles, 1772
